Launched in 2022 by Re:shape and its partners, ARK was created to redefine co-living through design-led, community-driven spaces that blend the comfort of private apartments with the vibrant shared spaces.

The platform opened its first 300-bed flagship, Wembley ARK, in September 2022, followed by Canary Wharf ARK in January 2024. Together, the operational portfolio now exceeds 1,000 beds

  • ELECTRIC WORKS, WOOLWICH

    Mixed Use development comprising over 1,200 PBSA & Coliving studios, 90 affordable residential homes, children’s nursery, commercial space and a retained historic building at the heart of a new public realm offer.

  • THE BREWERY, BETHNAL GREEN

    A mixed use development comprising 240 coliving studios, 30 affordable residential homes, affordable workspace and marker space, alongside the retention and celebration of the ruins of historic Brewery building.

  • WORRALL RIVERSIDE, SALFORD

    A mixed-use development comprising 410 coliving studios, a financial contribution to affordable housing, a new social infrastructure provision, widening of the River walkway and new public realm enhancements.

  • BRIDLE HEIGHTS, WATFORD

    A mixed-use development comprising 280 coliving studios, a financial contribution to affordable housing, affordable workspace and traditional office spaces, and highway and public realm improvement works.

  • FORMER CATHOLIC CLUB, WOOLWICH

    A mixed-use 298 studio PBSA scheme with a self-contained community centre for local charities, community groups, SMEs, and social enterprises to use at cost.

  • ARK, WEMBLEY

    Acquisition of a 115,270 sqft hotel comprising 300 beds. Re:shape and its partners converted the building to become ARK’s first operational Co-living building, providing high-quality studios ranging from 21-29sqm and experience-led amenities.
